Room Reservations
There is a two night minimum for advance reservations on all weekends, and on weekdays in July and August. All holidays and event weeks also require a two or three night minimum. We may make an exception if we have rooms available.
Room Deposit
A deposit of the equivalent of one night's stay is required. A deposit of half the total cost of the stay is required on reservations for more than three nights, holiday and for special events. Balance must be secured with a credit card or paid in full at check in.
Cancellations
Deposits are refundable if your reservation is canceled at least 10 days prior to check in. Less than 10 days notice your deposit is only refundable (less a $15.00 service charge) if we can rebook the room.
Payment
We except cash, travelers checks, MasterCard and Visa. A Personal check for payment or deposit is acceptable if we receive the check a week prior to arrival.
Check-In and Check-out
Check-In is between 4pm and 6pm. Checkout is by 11am. If you would like to check in earlier or later please let us know at least one day prior to your arrival and we will try to accommodate you.
Children and extra accommodations
Our rates are based on double occupancy; there is a charge of $20.00 for each additional person. Children are welcome but we are sorry we cannot always accommodate infants and toddlers, it depends. We do not have cots or pack & plays available at this time.
Pets
We accept pets on a limited basis. Only one of our rooms is suitable and the additional person charge of $20.00 applies. For the comfort of our other guests we do not take advance reservations for pets unless you are part of a group that has another room or rooms.
Smoking Policy
All of our guest rooms and common rooms are smoke free.

Accommodations
Each of our three guest rooms have fine linens, down comforter and pillows purchased from Cuddledown of Maine. All have private baths, in-room television and air conditioning. Wireless internet is available throughout the house and in all our guest rooms. Your room rate includes breakfast. For your convenience coffee, tea, water and soft drinks are always available in our dining room; in addition to a small refrigerator for storing perishables.
Aunt Bertha's Room
This cozy room is located in the southwest corner, with a view of the garden and back pasture. Aunt Bertha's Room has a queen size bed and full bath. After her husband's death Bertha, Gramps sister, spent her summers in Maine and visited her brother each winter. She divided her time between the two places until she could no longer travel. Recently we were passed down two hook rugs, designed and handmade by Aunt Bertha one of which is placed in the living room.

Winter Room
The Winter Bedroom has one queen size bed and a unique corner bathroom. Granny and Gramps spent winters in this cozy room located in the southeast corner overlooking the garden, but moved to a room above the woodshed for the summer. Their summer bedroom had plenty of windows and a great cross breeze. In the days before insulation and air-conditioning seasonal bedrooms was a necessary luxury.

The Guest Room
The Guest room has one queen and one three quarter bed, which is larger than a twin smaller than a full. The bath is located where the original bath was placed when indoor plumbing became available, because it is in a private adjoining hall the bedroom is quite spacious. This room is where guests, including grandchildren stayed when they came to visit. Back then Aldo the farmhand awakened guests at 6:30 am, calling to them from outside their window. Granny served breakfast by 7:00 am, and late sleepers went hungry.
